Please join us on March 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. for a excellent program on the History of the Siskiyou County Schools! Presented by former Siskiyou County Dept. of Education Librarian, Kathy Graves. This program will be held in the conference room at the Siskiyou County Museum in Yreka, CA. Light refreshments will be served.
June 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. A Siskiyou County Historical Society car tour will depart for Trinity Center. We will tour (with possible historic stops along the way) to have lunch (on your own) at Trinity Center. At 2:00 p.m. we will attend a presentation of the Dorlaska Mine at the Odd Fellows Hall. June 20, 2010, please stop by the Armory Building located at the Siskiyou Golden Fairgrounds and enjoy the History Faire being sponsored by the Genealogical Society of Siskiyou County. The Siskiyou County Historical Society will have a booth, stop by and say hello! This is Father's Day and the annual Father's Day Pancake Breakfast and Car Show will also be going on at the fairgrounds! Please join us on June 26, 2010 (This is a change of date) at 2:00 p.m. for a delightful program presented as a "first person presentation" of the life and times of the infamous stage coach robber, "Black Bart" and his counterpart nemesis, Wells Fargo Detective, James Hume. Lee Dimmel will play "Black Bart". There will be a $10 charge for this 1 1/2 hour event. Contact the museum or historical society for ticket information. Refreshments will be served. Remember to pay your dues! Paying your dues now will insure you receive a copy of the 2010 Siskiyou Pioneer!
